Overview
Ford's 1986 brochure retained three full-size Bronco series: standard Bronco, XLT, and Eddie Bauer. The standard power team was the 4.9-liter inline-six with four-speed manual; a manual-overdrive was available, the 5.0-liter multi-port-EFI V8 used a four-speed manual or Automatic Overdrive, and the 5.8-liter high-output V8 used an automatic. Eddie Bauer standardized the 5.0 EFI/AOD combination.
