Durant B-22 History

Introduced for 1922 alongside the four-cylinder A-22, the B-22 was Durant's entry into the six-cylinder field. It rode a 123.5-inch wheelbase — larger than the four — and was rated at 70 horsepower, placing it between the low-price A-22 and the separate Flint Six that Durant also offered as a distinct marque.

The B-22 lasted only through 1924. It was a short run by any measure, discontinued as Durant Motors reorganized its lineup; the six-cylinder effort at this price point migrated to the Flint brand, and then returned to the Durant nameplate as a new family of numbered models after the 1928 relaunch.
