History
The Reatta was a transverse front-engine, front-wheel-drive two-seat grand tourer, hand-assembled in small numbers at GM's Lansing 'Reatta Craft Centre.' It launched as a coupe for 1988 and added a convertible for 1990, sharing its 3.8-liter V6 and much of its running gear with the Riviera.
Early cars featured a touchscreen CRT interface that was simplified in 1990. Never a volume seller, the Reatta was discontinued in 1991 after roughly 21,000 were built — making it one of the rarer modern Buicks and a quietly admired late-1980s design.
