History
The Envision is a compact crossover developed primarily for the Chinese market and, notably, imported to the United States from China beginning with the 2016 model year — an unusual sourcing arrangement for a US-market vehicle.
It slots between the small Encore GX and the three-row Enclave in Buick's lineup. A second generation arrived for 2021 with sharper styling and an upgraded interior, continuing as one of Buick's core SUV-only offerings.
