History

The Enclave debuted for 2008 as Buick's three-row, full-size crossover, sharing GM's Lambda platform with the Saturn Outlook, GMC Acadia, and Chevrolet Traverse. Its smooth ovoid styling and quiet, upscale cabin made it an early hit and helped reposition Buick as a premium-leaning brand.

The second generation (2018–2024) moved upmarket against rivals like the Acura MDX and Volvo XC90, with a 310-hp 3.6-liter V6 and a nine-speed automatic. The third generation arrived for 2025 with styling inspired by the Wildcat EV concept, a new turbocharged four-cylinder, available Super Cruise hands-free driving, and a large curved display.
