Brabus E V12 History

The Brabus E V12 had its world debut at the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show in 2003, built on the Mercedes-Benz E-Class (W211). The initial 640 PS / 630 hp V12 biturbo gave a top speed of 340 km/h — placing it among the world's fastest street-legal cars at the time.

For 2005, Brabus introduced the E V12 S Biturbo, pushing the engine past 700 PS for the first time in a production sedan — a milestone that preceded the Rocket line. Output reached 730 PS with 1,320 Nm of torque.

At IAA 2009, Brabus unveiled the E V12 'one of ten' based on the next-generation E-Class (W212). This final iteration used the SV12 R Biturbo 800 engine producing 800 PS / 789 hp and a top speed in excess of 370 km/h (230 mph), limited to ten examples.
