W Motors Fenyr SuperSport History

Announced in concept form at the 2015 Dubai Motor Show, the Fenyr SuperSport (named for Fenrir, the monstrous wolf of Norse mythology) was W Motors' attempt to broaden its lineup beyond the seven-car Lykan experiment. The production version was formally revealed on 29 November 2017 at the opening of the W Motors Gallery in Dubai's City Walk, featuring substantial changes from the 2015 concept. Its hand-laid carbon fiber and graphene composite body clothes a mid-rear-mounted 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged flat-six — again supplied by RUF Automobile — producing approximately 800 hp and 980 N·m (723 lb-ft) of torque.

W Motors initially planned 25 units per year but revised the total allocation to 100 cars plus 10 Launch Edition examples at a price of $1.4 million. The first nine Launch Edition deliveries were confirmed by January 2020, with W Motors announcing that the final five Launch Edition slots had been sold to an anonymous Japanese buyer in July 2019. The company broke ground on a new $100 million UAE factory in January 2020, with Stage One targeted for completion by October 2020 — though broader production-at-scale has not been publicly confirmed since. The Fenyr claims 0–100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 400 km/h (249 mph), slightly edging the Lykan on every performance headline.
