History

The second-generation V90 (the name was used briefly on a 1996–1998 model) arrived for 2017 on the SPA platform alongside the S90 sedan, filling Volvo's large-wagon role. Its minimalist Scandinavian interior and available T8 Recharge plug-in-hybrid made it one of the most desirable premium wagons on the market.

The V90 Cross Country is a raised, all-wheel-drive variant with body cladding, pitched at buyers who want wagon practicality with a taller ride height and all-weather confidence, succeeding the XC70 in spirit.
