The 2024 model year
Overview
The 2024 U.S. Golf lineup again consisted of the GTI and Golf R. Volkswagen's order guide paired the regular S, SE, and Autobahn GTIs with a seven-speed DSG, while the manual-only GTI 380 S, 380 SE, and 380 Autobahn formed a parallel three-trim range. The 315-hp Golf R remained available with either a six-speed manual or seven-speed DSG. Volkswagen identified 2024 as the final model year for manual-transmission U.S. GTI and Golf R production.
