The C14 succeeded the C11 in 1928 and carried forward the 2,326 cc six-cylinder sleeve-valve engine in a refined, slightly larger chassis. Under the bonnet the engine was rated at a modest 65 horsepower, driving through a three-speed gearbox to the rear wheels — conservative figures that prioritized smooth, long-legged cruising over outright performance.
Coachwork varied: Voisin supplied its own angular, aluminum-intensive factory bodies, while affluent clients could order bespoke coachwork from the great Parisian ateliers. The characteristic Voisin aesthetic — flat surfaces, minimal brightwork, pronounced fender lines — was already firmly established by the C14 era.
Production ran through 1932 with 1,795 examples built, a respectable total for a hand-assembled luxury car during the Depression. The C14 is the model most frequently found in surviving collections today, its relative production volume giving it better odds of survival than the rarer specialist models.
