Rosengart Vivor History

Alongside its passenger cars, Rosengart produced the Vivor — a lightweight commercial vehicle and break derivative — from 1947 as the company rebuilt after the wartime occupation. Tipping the scales at around 400 kg, the Vivor was aimed at small traders and rural operators who needed an economical workhorse.

Production peaked at 873 units in 1951 before declining as the market consolidated around larger-factory competitors. The Vivor was discontinued in 1953, leaving the Ariette saloon as the sole Rosengart product in the company's final years.
