The Hemera (named for the Greek goddess of day) debuted at the 2008 Paris Motor Show as PGO's first closed coupe. Its styling continued the 356-inspired language of the Speedster II and Cévennes but with a fastback roofline that references the original Porsche 356 coupe rather than the open Speedster body.
At launch the Hemera used a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder producing approximately 138 hp (103 kW), mounted amidships and driving the rear wheels through a five-speed manual. The car weighed around 980 kg and was claimed to reach 200 km/h (124 mph). Like its siblings it later transitioned to the BMW-sourced 1.6 L turbocharged unit following the 2012 supply agreement.
The Hemera is the rarest and least-exported of PGO's three model lines; examples have appeared at specialist collections including the Lane Motor Museum in Nashville. Its existence rounds out PGO's lineup with a weatherproof grand-touring option alongside the two open roadsters.
