History

The Ital Uno Turbo was the last automobile produced by Moretti, appearing in 1989 as the company's final statement before ceasing production in December of that year. Based on the Fiat Uno, it used a 1.3-litre turbocharged engine and was offered in very limited numbers.

A small consignment was exported to the United States, imported by M.I.K Automotive in North Hollywood, California — an unusual footnote for a tiny Italian specialist, and the last Moretti to reach American soil. The Ital Uno Turbo's arrival and the company's near-simultaneous closure marked the end of six decades of Moretti automobile production in Turin.
