History

After acquiring Lister in 2013 through his Warrantywise business, Lawrence Whittaker revived Lister as a low-volume Jaguar-based performance house. The LFT-666 (the name referencing both 'Lister F-Type' and its power output) was announced in 2018 — internally called the Thunder before production — and is built on Jaguar F-Type R foundations with the supercharged 5.0-litre V8 extensively reworked to produce 666 bhp.

Performance claims put 0–62 mph at 3.2 seconds and top speed at 208 mph. Production is limited to 99 coupes at a base price of £141,155 (2018). An open-top companion, the LFT-C, followed, limited to just 10 cars and billed as the most powerful open-top Lister ever made, connecting back in spirit to the Knobbly roadsters of the 1950s.
