Crosley Farm-O-Road History

Launched in 1950, the Crosley Farm-O-Road was a diminutive multipurpose vehicle on a 63-inch wheelbase, conceived as a combination of a light tractor, a small pickup and a passenger runabout — a jeep-like utility aimed at farms and small holdings. It used the same 44-cubic-inch Crosley four and could be fitted with implements as well as a load bed.

It was a niche, late-life product for a struggling company: fewer than 600 Farm-O-Roads were built before Crosley closed in 1952. After the shutdown the design lived on briefly, sold by other small firms, which makes surviving examples a curiosity among Crosley collectors.
