History

The Traverse arrived for 2009 as Chevrolet's three-row unibody crossover, replacing the TrailBlazer and Uplander with a roomy family-hauler on GM's Lambda platform.

Two generations have made it a popular three-row choice, with an off-road-styled Z71 trim added in the latest car.
