The Equinox launched for 2005 as Chevrolet's compact crossover and grew into one of the brand's best-selling vehicles, a mainstream rival to the RAV4 and CR-V.

Across several generations it moved to more efficient turbocharged engines, and an all-electric Equinox EV — pitched as an affordable long-range EV — joined the lineup for 2024.
