Launched for 2017, the Bolt EV was one of the first affordable long-range electric cars, offering an EPA-rated 238 miles (later 259 miles) in a practical subcompact hatchback.
A taller, longer Bolt EUV crossover joined for 2022. After a major battery recall, GM ended the original Bolt after 2023, with a next-generation Bolt (a crossover, dropping the hatchback) following.
