History

The Astro (1985–2005) was Chevrolet's mid-size van — unusually rear- or all-wheel-drive and body-on-frame, giving it far more towing and cargo capability than the front-drive minivans it competed with.

Popular for work, conversions, and towing, it ran for two decades with little change before being discontinued after 2005.
