Fifth-generation Supra — A90 GR Supra (2020–present)
2020–present
The fifth-generation A90 / J29 GR Supra revived the nameplate for 2020 after a roughly 17-year hiatus. Co-developed with BMW and built in Austria on the platform shared with the BMW Z4 (G29), it launched in the US with a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six; a turbocharged 2.0-liter four joined for 2021. The BMW co-development is the defining — and most debated — fact of the modern Supra.
