History

Introduced at the February 2024 Geneva Motor Show, the Microlino Lite shares the bubble-car body with its 2.0 sibling but is reclassified as an L6e light quadricycle, which allows it to be driven on a moped licence in Switzerland, Italy, France, and several other European markets.

The Lite is powered by a 6 kW motor (versus 12.5 kW in the 2.0), giving a governed top speed of 45 km/h and a kerb weight below 425 kg. Battery options of 5.5 kWh (~100 km range) and 10.5 kWh (~180 km range) are offered. The Lite opens the Microlino to a younger demographic — 16-year-olds with an AM licence in relevant markets — and to buyers who do not need or cannot obtain a full car licence.
