Mazzanti Antas History

The Faralli & Mazzanti Antas was the inaugural production car from the Pisa workshop, debuting at the Top Marques Monaco Show in 2006. Inspired by Italian grand tourers of the 1930s–1960s, its sweeping body panels were hand-formed from aluminium over a steel spaceframe — sketched without digital tools by co-founder Walter Faralli and built entirely by hand.

Power came from a naturally aspirated 4.7-litre Maserati V8 producing around 306 bhp, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox and driving the rear wheels. The car weighed approximately 1,300 kg and was claimed to reach 270 km/h (168 mph). A later variant, the Antas V8 GT, offered a more powerful tune of the same engine. Production numbers were extremely limited — a handful of customer cars at most.

When the Faralli & Mazzanti partnership dissolved in 2010, Luca Mazzanti retained the engineering business (renamed Mazzanti Automobili) while Walter Faralli continued classic-car restoration as Faralli Restauri. The Antas V8 GT represents the entire F&M-badged production era.
