History
Mansory introduced the Gronos in 2013 as a complete vehicle conversion of the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG and G 65 AMG. The transformation includes widened carbon-fibre body panels, a new front hood, revised front spoiler, and bespoke interior trim that repositions the G-Class firmly at the apex of the luxury-SUV market.
The programme has been continuously updated alongside Mercedes' own G-Class development. For the current W465 generation the Gronos delivers 820 hp and 1,150 Nm of torque from the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 — up from the standard AMG G 63's 585 hp — with a claimed 0–100 km/h time of 4.0 seconds. A 2025 limited edition of 8 units was announced. A Gronos 6x6 variant on the Mercedes G 63 6x6 platform, featuring suicide doors and 900 hp, was also offered in limited numbers.
