Jeep Wrangler JK (third generation, 2007–2018)

2007–2018

The JK (2007–2018) was Jeep's first completely clean-sheet Wrangler redesign of body, frame, and suspension. Its defining addition was the four-door Wrangler Unlimited, offered alongside the two-door — a roomier, family-friendly Wrangler that came to dominate sales (about three-quarters of Wranglers by 2017). From 2012 the smooth 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 replaced the earlier 3.8-liter, the most-sought JK engine. For 2018 the JK was sold alongside the incoming JL.
