The hatchback Elantra reached North America as the Elantra GT (2013–2020), a rebadged European Hyundai i30 that added five-door practicality to the range. It was discontinued in 2020 as Hyundai's crossover lineup expanded. (An earlier wagon-bodied Elantra Touring filled a similar role for 2009–2012.)
