Overview

The 2016 US Elantra family combined the outgoing sedan with the Elantra GT hatchback. Sedan SE, Value Edition, and Limited used the 145-hp 1.8-liter engine; Sedan Sport and GT used the 173-hp 2.0-liter GDI engine.
