The 1984 model year
Overview
After a one-year gap with no public 1983 cars (GM built only pre-production pilots), the all-new fourth-generation Corvette launched as a 1984 model. A clean-sheet design with a much stiffer structure and a modern digital dash, it dragged the Corvette into the 1980s.
