Overview
1991 was the last US model year for the second-generation E30 — the car that made the 3 Series an icon. By this point the E30 had broadened the line with a four-door sedan, a convertible, and the Touring wagon, and had spawned the original four-cylinder E30 M3. Its all-new E36 successor arrived in US showrooms for 1992.
