Third-generation Z (Z31 300ZX, 1984–1989)

1984–1989

The third-generation Z (chassis Z31) was the first Z fully sold under the Nissan name in the US, arriving as the 300ZX with a new VG-series V6 and available turbocharging. A digital-dash 1980s GT, it bridged the analog S130 and the technical tour-de-force Z32.
