The 2022 model year

Overview

For 2022 Hyundai added the Elantra N — the first genuine high-performance Elantra and the sedan flagship of the 'N' performance sub-brand. With a turbocharged 2.0-liter four making 276 hp (286 hp on the N Grin Shift overboost), a track-focused chassis, and an available dual-clutch transmission, it transformed the practical compact into a credible sport sedan and gave the Elantra a true enthusiast halo.
