The seventh-generation Corvette (2014–2019) revived the 'Stingray' name and was the LAST front-engine Corvette. Built on an aluminum frame with the new LT1 V8, it spawned the supercharged LT4 Z06 (650 hp, 2015) and closed the front-engine era with the 755-hp supercharged LT5 ZR1 (2019).
