Sixth-generation Corvette (C6, 2005–2013)

2005–2013

The sixth-generation Corvette (2005–2013) brought exposed headlamps for the first time since 1962 and a sharper, tighter body. It produced two landmark performance cars: the naturally aspirated 7.0L LS7 Z06 (505 hp, from 2006) and the supercharged 6.2L LS9 ZR1 (638 hp, from 2009), the most powerful Corvette of its era.
